Over 40 million adults in the US (19.1%) have an anxiety disorder. Approximately 7% of children aged 3-17 experience issues with anxiety each year. Most people live with it, not even knowing they have it.
Anxiety can produce both physical and emotional symptoms
Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, however only about 1/3 of those suffering receive adequate treatment or counseling
